The Steroid Era

I know that everybody is tired of hearing about The Steroid Era and everything that it entails thus far. I am too. Which is why I believe that Major League Baseball should come 100% clean. We have Alex Rodriguez, we now have Sammy Sosa, and I believe that we need the 102 other names on that list. I think that the infamous list of 104 is key to helping Major League Baseball fully heel from that period of time in baseball history. The sooner it comes out the sooner the media coverage will end. If you look at the people in baseball who have come out and admitted steroid use they have all eventually fallen back into the good graces of the public. Andy Pettite, Jason Giambi (hey, people fell in love with the fireman stash that he sported last year), and now even Alex Rodriguez. Nobody is talking about Alex Rodriguez and his steroid use anymore. Now its Sammy Sosa and eventually its going to be the next name on that list that is leaked. I think what everybody wants here is just to know the truth. To know how many of our beloved stars were cheating. To know how many of the people who just your everyday average Joe Schmo's. I believe that it highly unfair for players like Sosa and like Rodriguez to be judged the way that they will be judged in the future (for records and HOF purposes) if there are these remaining 102 players whose names are never revealed. It's the right thing to do for the fans, and it's the right thing to do for baseball history. Now, I think that Bud Selig for once finally needs to do the right thing and step up and not only acknowledge these players but also acknowledge his own absolute disregard for the integrity of the game during this period of time.
